MGM IP UNIVERSE in Mario outlet

MGM IP UNIVERSE는 가산디지털단지 마리오아울렛에 새롭게 오픈한 서브컬처 기반의 IP 체험형 복합 전시 공간으로, 게임·애니메이션·캐릭터 등 한일 양국의 다양한 IP를 하나의 공간에서 경험할 수 있도록 기획된 프로젝트입니다. 단순한 전시를 넘어 팝업스토어, 굿즈, 카페, 체험 콘텐츠를 유기적으로 연결하여 IP의 세계관을 오프라인 공간으로 확장하는 것을 목표로 하였습니다.

게임 문화의 상징적인 비주얼 요소를 현대적으로 재해석하여 브랜드 아이덴티티를 구축하였습니다. 픽셀 그래픽과 레트로 아케이드 감성, 강렬한 컬러 시스템을 통해 다양한 IP를 하나의 브랜드 경험으로 연결하였습니다.

MGM IP UNIVERSE is a subculture-based IP experience venue located at Mario Outlet in Gasan Digital Complex, bringing together a wide range of game, animation, and character IPs from Korea and Japan. Designed as more than a conventional exhibition space, the project combines pop-up stores, merchandise, cafés, and interactive experiences to extend each IP’s universe into an immersive offline environment. 

Developed the brand identity by reinterpreting iconic visual elements of gaming culture through a contemporary approach. Pixel-inspired graphics, retro arcade aesthetics, and a bold color system were combined to unify diverse IPs into a cohesive brand experience.
